"BAYER CROSS” ON ASPIRIN Dear Mr. Editor: After so long a time the valley of dry bones has begun to come togeth er. The Y. M. C. School is at Sapphire for a vacation. A crowd of school boys have flock ed to Sapphire like so many little snowbirds. Mr. Patton Crisp has giv en them a spot on which to build a J ball diamond west of the Crisp Inn. They have built one house and many tents can be seen over the talley from the top of Mt. Toxaway. Mr. Alfred Miller and Mr. Patton Crisp own a little lake in front of the Post Office on which the boys play like so many ducks. Mr. and Mrs. James T. Harrison are very busy pouring sweet milk and handing them cake which is furnished by the ladies of Sapphire. It is amusing to see them recieving their mail, boxes from home and let ters from friends with eager hands to see whose the prize is. I long for our school district no. five at Sapphire where we can ge the benefit of our money and can hear the happy voices of our own dear children who are having no chance with the school world. D.
