The sub ject has long been discussed, but just now is being revived with even great er enthusiasm at Brevard where a committee has been appointed to in vestigate plans for another rail out let. Now is the time for Asheville to look after this new railroad proposi tion. Sentiment in Transylvania county just now favors taking the line to Greenville to the south preferable to this direction. This inclination is due largely to the'fact that connec tion may be made with the partially completed line from Greenville by the construction of a few miles of rail road. However, Brevard people would be epually interested in a line that would connect with Asheville by way of the ‘ Sandy Bottom. Many have expressed preference or the Asheville route should there be, any possibility of financing such a line. An electric line to Brevard would open up a fertile community for direct communication v/ith Asheville. If the steam line con nection is completed between Brevard and Greenville, a new northern path for Asheville visitors will be offered. Asheville just now is facing a mul titude of great problems. The railway line is not the least of these. It is deserving of profound investigation. —Asheville Times. Brevard WE HAVE A CARE LOAD OF ROYAL CEMENT JUST ARRIVED, NONE BETTER.
