Miss Louise Milner, who since the close of Rockbrook Camp has been a guest of Miss Wallis, left on Tuesday :or her home in Nev/ Orleans. - Mrs. John J. Stevens, Jr., who has spent the summer‘here, will return to her home in Savannah the end of the week. Mrs. J, F. Zachary, who recently underwent an operation at River side Sanitarium, has sufficiently re covered to return to her home in Bre vard. Mrs. J. W. McMinn was called to Winston Salem on Friday on account of the serious iHness of her daughter Miss Irene McMinn, who is a student at Salem College. A little son of F. E. B. Jenkins took in the circus at Asheville last week, and after the performance dis appeared'from those who had him in charge. He wJls found the following day at the house of a relative. Mrs. Macon Reed, who has been very ill for some time, left on Tues day for Columbia where she will spend the winter. She was accom panied by her cousin. Miss Venable 1 of Charleston, West Va. Mrs. Reed’s friends will be glad to learn that she is now very much improved in health. Miss Roberta Morton and her sis* ter, M(gt Leona Griever, have closed the Franldin‘Hotel after a very suc cessful season and on Tuesday re-/ turned to th^ir home in Athians, Ga. Mr.* and Mrs. W. H. Glass of the Baptist Church will be, entertained by Mrs. C. H. Klueppelberg next Tuesday p. m., at 3:30, at the residence of W. H. Duckworth. ^ Among the many who motored ov er to Asheville last Saturday to take in the sights of the big circus were Miss Margaret Hays, Miss Nell Mel ton and Messrs. W. Duckworth and Pat Hook.
