Harry Dupree, Howard and Glenn Whitmire had a narrow escape Sun day with a pair of oxens^. Mr. Louie Gillespie’s fine pig died last week. The rabbits are getting scarce our way now. Mrs. P. A. Morgan was a pleasant caller of Mrs. P. L. Hogsed Monday P. M. F. C. Glazener has got a fine beef to kill as soon as the weather turns cool. One of W. T. Whitmire’s fine lambs died Sunday. E. J. Whitmire has two fine hogs to kill. Garfield Jones has moved to E. C. Glazener’s farm and has rented for this year. Miss Mamie Hayes has entered Rosman high school. Some of our Calvert students have entered the Intsitute at Brevard. BLUE JAY h' ■ RESOLVED: Brevard, N. C., Jan. 17, 1922.
