FRIDAY, JUNE 30, 1922 THE BREVARD NEWS, BREVARD, NORTH CAROLINA R. H. ZACHARY IMPROVING HOME Alderman Ralph H. Zachary is building a large porch to the front of his beautiful home. The pillars are being built of compressed brick. In addition to the new porch, new driveway, etc., Mr. Zachary has just completed the planting of hedge, which will completely enclose his large lot. NOTICE TO CONTRACTORS AND BUILDERS Please take notice that the County Boards of Education of Transylvania and Henderson counties will let a contract for the construction of a school building according to State plans and specifications No. 200R, which may be had by calling at the office of the County Superintendent of either of the aforesaid counties. The aforesaid building is to be built in Boyd township district No. 4 as mjfr be located by the Henderson and Transylvania Boards of Educa tion. Each county is to pay half the cost of the construction of the afore said building. Half the building and site is to be owned by each County Board of Education aforesaid. Please have your bids on file in the office of the undersigned Country Superin tendent not later than 10 A. M. July 3, next.
