Duckworth should be in charge of the work of giving; Con nesstec a first class road. When a member of the County School Board Mr. Duckworth supported the estab lishment of the present school with effective insistence, and his co-opera tion with the efforts of. Messiv Kim.zey, Henderson, Hogsed, Whit mire, Tinsley, and others, did much to start a progressive* movement iu t\ to which the hew road will lend in creasing impetus. Another distinguished alumnus oi Con nesstec who taught school in bu community, besides Mr. Calloway, to whom we referred recently, is Mr. W. M. Ilenry. Mr. Henry's line young apple; orchard on the Mill Hill Road will soon be one of our most pro ductive assets, and it is already send ing a little boy to school who is a w ritable .pippin himself; Mr. Elislia Cravelley spent a whole day trying to find a team of oxen fin some timber business recently, and dul not li.id the team.
