SEVENTY FIVE MILES OF PAVEMENT LAID LAST MONTH ! i Figures compiled in the Construc tion Department of the State High way Commission show that 75.55 miles of paving were laid during September. This does not quite equal the milage laid in August when 84.23 miles were hiid. The pavement laid last month was divid ed as follows: Concrete paving 40. 2 1 miles; concrete base course 15i 82. miles; asphalt concrete surfacing 12. 48 miles; sand asphalt 7.04 miles. In September, 1924. 43.*>6 miles were laid. as follows: concrete paving ID miles; concrete base course 7.0 miles : a, aphakic concrete surfacing U.4'5 miles; sand asphalt 11. -1 miles.
