Annual Picnic at our Ex periment Station, on the Swanna noa River about nine miles from Biltmore. There will be many good speakers that you surely will be glad to hear, but better you will have a chance to see the farm, and have one of the managers there to explain just what each plot has had done to it, and you will see with your own eyes . the results of various practices, and experiments. I wish that every real farmer in the County could attend this meet ing. You will never regret the day, and besides you have had a day of change which you need after a long Summer's work. Load up the car with the family and dinner, and drive over, and lets make it an annual thing for this County. We should know more about what is being done on the Ex V-eriment Station Farm. There will be considerable said as to fertilizers by men who have de voted a lifetime to the work. Fruit jrrowing will receive attention, and one or more will tell you what the farm is for and what you ought to be getting from it, if you are a pro gressive farmer. Then there will be music, speeches by Ex-Governor Morrison, Hon. W. ( | A. Graham, of the Department of i Agriculture, and other Agriculture < leaders.
