HOOSIER CABINET ! SALE SETS RECORD What is believed to be a record by furniture dealers handling the famous Hoosier Kitchen cabinets was made recently by the Houston Furniture company of Brevard. A ear load of kitchen cabinets were ordered, and a ten days' sale an nounced. The furniture company carried one full page advertisement in The Brevard News, announcing the sale, distributed 1000 circulars, and carried a smaller advertisement in the next week's issue of The News. The car load of cabinets were sold during the sale and orders taken for seventeen more cabinets, which were rushed to Brevard and delivered by the Houston organiza tion. Officials of both the furniture company and of the Hoosier Kitchen Cabinet company expressed them selves as being highly elated over the success of the sale, which is thought to be a record sale. ESCAPED CONVICT IS RETURNED TO CAMP Calvin Hensley, who is said to have escaped from the Buncombe county chain gang camp, having been sent up from Yancey county, was captured last Saturday by Sher iff Sitton of Reasonover creek. Of ficers from Burnsville came for the captured man and returned him to the gang. It is said Hensley was serving time for stealing an automo bile.
