Sunday School is held every Sunday afternoon at 2 oc'lock. This church, organized a few months ago, has added a large num ber of members and have built a new house of worship. MISSIONARY SOCIETY MEETING The Woman's Missionary society of Zion Baptist church met at the home of Mrs. M. C. Sumerel Oct 7 with nine members and one visitor present. 'me meeting was presided over by the president, Mrs. G. C. McClure, who had charge of the devotionals. The subject for the afternoon was "Money and Missions." Mrs. Lee Nicholson and Mrs. C. J. Eldridge each read very helpful articles, after which Mrs. M. C. Sumerel led the special prayer. After the report of secretary and personal service leader were given, Miss Lennie Manley led the opening prayer and the meeting idjourned to meet at the home of Mrs. C. J. El dridge, October 21st. BIRTHDAY PARTY Little Miss Inez Summey enter tained at the home of her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Wade Summey, Tues day in honor of her eighth birthday anniversary. ? Various games were played, after which delicious refreshments of cake, cookies and candy were served. Inez was the recipient of many gifts. On account of the heavy rain, not all the invited guests could attend.
