Woodmen met at Rosman. A large
crowd was .present. The main feature
was the work on the Protection de
gree. All the boys seemed in good
spirits and it is hoped they will keep

The marriage ceremony of Miss
Mae Burt of Rosman and John
Butler of Ninety-Six, S. C., was
solemnized at the home of the bride's
uncle, Rev. \V. A. Tinsley, March 1st,
! 932. There was a ring ceremony with
Mr. and Mrs. A. M. Moore as attend
ants. Mrs. Butler is the oldest
daughter of the Rev. and Mrs. J. E.
Burt of Rospian. The groom is the
son of Mr. and Mrs. C: S. Butler of
Ninety-Six, S. C.
Mr Butler is in the mercantile
business at Ninety-Six. The young
couple after spending a few days with
t !i bride's parents here will return
to Nin. ty-Six, where they expect to

In connection with the food work
now being taught in tlio llome Econo
mics classes we mads a trip to the
Sunnyside Dairy near Brevard sev
eral days ago. As a result of this
trip each student wrota a theme en
titled "My Trip to the Dairy."
The second year class visited Mr.
Robinson's meat market in Brevard
and the first year class visited the
Bakery in Brevard.
On Friday, Mrach 11, the first
year Home Economics class will
serve a luncheon at which some of
the teachers will be guests. The
menu consists of the following:
Cream of tomato soup Crackers
i,eituce salad with thousand island
dressing
Cheese straws
Lime jelly Whipped cream
Tea
On Wednesday March 9, the second
year Home Economics class served a
dinner at which Miss Sisk and Mr.
Kimzey were guests. A. color scheme
ol' green and yellow was carried out.
The host at this occasion was Inez
Owen and the Hostess Edith Clark.
The waitresses were Lila G'llespie
and Mildred Henderson. The two
student guests were Fannie Morgan
and Aileon Glazener. The following
menu was served.

MISS WHITE HONORS SENIOR
CLASS WITH PARTY
On Tuesday evening, March 8th, a
party was given by Miss Elsie White
at her home on Main street, honoring
the senior class of Rosman High
school. The hostess, a member of the
class, provided an unusually interest
injj evening of entcrt&inment. The
color scheme of pink and green was
! beautifully carried out, this being the
[class colors.
The dining table was attractively
[decorated with a center piece of large
, pink roses, these furnishing a canopy
uiicler which stood a host of minia
1 ture kewpie dolls clad in graduation
crips and gowns. A small basKet
containing the place cards and a
! favor of pink and green mints was
used as place card holders.
! Refreshments were served in the

delicious course of fruit salad, jello
