In the meeting of precinct number 1 on Saturday night at the court house that must active opponent of the con stitutional amendment, D. M. Luther, who for several months ha been mak ing anti-amendment speeches and de nouncing Democrats, was a conspicu ous participant, and his vote had the effect of changing the entire delega tion; hud he not been at the primary tjie d.-leyatlon would have been differ ent. On motion the chair man appointed a committee consisting of J. O. Merrlmon, A. H. Brooks and . B. Cain to recommend sis delegates and six alternates to the county con vention.
