Following are Sections one, two, three, four, five, six and seven of said Act. to which reference has heretofore been made, viz: Section 1. That any parent, guar dian or other person iu Macon Coun ty, having the control of any child or children between the ages of eihl (8) and sixteen (16) . years, shall be required to send such child or chil dren lo some publio or private day it night school tor children, animal ly, for a period equivalent lo at least three-fourths of the )ablioJ; etihool tcHii in tbe district in taid count) wherein said child or children may reside, sulijecl to such -exceptions as to children, places of attendance aud schools as are provided for iu section n'veof thb act. That any parent, guar dian or other person in sail oounty failirg lo comply with the provisions of section one of this act shall -be guilty of a misdemeanor, aud shall, upon conviction, bo fined or impris oned in the discretion of the Court. Section 8. That it shall be the duty of every public school teacher iii Macon County to keep a strict record of the attendance of all ehil- freu between the ages of eiiht ami sixteen "years hounds of his. or her school tliMkiui, who shall be enrolled upon the cen sus report as aludeuls in sam dis trict, and to report the same to the Board of Education of said , county annually at the close of the public school term. Said report shall be made out upon blanks lo be furnished the teacheis by the Board of Educa tion of said county, and shall include: ?' (1) The name t)f every child be tween the ages of eight and sixteen years, residing wilhin said diatriot, who shall fail to attend some public or private day or night school for the length of lime provided for bisec tion one 'of this act, together Willi the name of tbe uareiil, iroar.iiaii or other person having control of such child or children. (2) A siauinent of the actual length of lime during - which said child shall bave failed to attend school as required by this act. (3)A statement as to Whether said parent, guardiau or other person having control of said child or chil dren shall have been excused from the penalties of this act ss provided in section five of this act. . .
