' He was a faithful Christian, always striving to work for his Master! He was our B. Y. P. U, leader, always in his place and ready, to do his part. -He has run his race and finished his tasks. We believe that he has gone to his Heavenly Home, there to re ceive that welcome plaudit, "Well done, thou good and faithful servant, enter thou into rhe joys of the Lord." Ed leaves behind him. many friends and loved one.; to mourn their loss. Our loss 'is his eternal gain. The funeral service was conducted by -Rev. ikorji' C'.cer. of the Cowee Baptist Church. There in the -cemetery he was laid to, re: t ' under .a mound, of beautiful fir, v ers to await "the 'great judgment morning, 'when the last trumpet sounds and the Lord shall come to claim his own. Let us all' strive to be ready to travel that journey with tlie Savicr, Ed and all our loved ones. When the Savior comes we shall re ceive a crown of glory that fadeth not. BERTHA GIBSON.
