Mrs. Carma Deweese Wilson Mrs. Carina Dcwecc Wilson was born October 28, 1903, and fell asleep in Jesus, from which none ever awake to weep, February 22, 1924. She professed faith in Christ and was baptized at the early and tender age of fourteen years. She lived such a Christian life that all would do well to follow her as she followed Christ until her sweet immortal -spirit winged its triumphant and glorious flight to bright realms of an eternal day. . In. temper she was as gentle as a sunbeam. It was said of her that she had showed no sign of being out of temper for a whole year. . Her short, however, entire Christ ian life was one unceasing stream of love. If such can be a fact, she was ;oo bright a jewel icr earth to hold.. And, Curious to say, :he had ex pressed a desire to d e while young, and for aught we know,' God an swered her desire, having a brighter mission for her in a brighter world above. . She joined her young life in mar riage to Mr. Frank Wilson, who made her the idol of his life, but this gol den link of their life was to snap asunder in one short year, to leave her husband, parents and' three lov ing sisters all broken-hearted and one sweet tiny babe to be cradled in oth er arms. We buried her in a new made grave in the Briartown church yard for her long night's rest until the voice of God and His resurrection touch shall raise her from the dead. Carina's voice of bird-like melody That we will miss and mourn so . long, x Now mingles with yonder angel choir, In everlasting praise and song. It was not death, altho' we grieved To know her beautiful form, That we had learned to love was torn From our embracing home. At last with sad and breaking hearts' With mournful garb and silent tread We laid Carma's senseless dust to rest For she only sleeps, but is not dead. No, she is not dead, but only passed, Beyond the veil that blinds us here Out into a new and larger life, Of a greater and serener Sphere. Carma has but dropped the robe of clay, And put her shining garments on; She has but traveled far away She is not dead,, but gone. F. M. MORGAN. ' Notice of Summons. North Carolina Macon County.
