home for some time at the bedside of
his infant. This baby has been ser
iously ill but at last reports was some

neering College at Raleigh arrived
Thursday to spend the Holidays with
his parents, Mr., and Mrs. Noah Jol

Mr. and Mrs. J. N. Bradley of Otto
dropped into the Press office last
Saturday to see why the Press did
not reach them on Friday. Last
week's Press contained 22 pages in
stead of eight as usual. Therefore
the Press force was a day jate in
getting out the paper.
Mr. and Mrs. J. D. Thomas of New
York arrived Monday to spend the
Christmas holidays with Mr. Thom
as, parents. Mr. and Mrs. John H.
Thomas. Since his arrival Mr. Thom
as has been busy shaking hands
with his numerous friends in frank

Mr. Georce Penland was in town
first of the week engaging turkeys
for Christmas dinners. Mr. Penland
has about 40 turkeys of all ages, and
sizes and can sell one to meet the
needs of any sized family.
