"I was a strong healthy man until
two years ago, then I began to

and my appetite failed. I couldn't
sleep well on account of nervousness.
I was cross and irritable and sick

so constipated I had to take calomel,

was full of poisons and a rash broke

My nerves are steady and I sleep
like a child. The billious attacks and
constipation have disappeared and all
poisons have been driven out of . my
system. The rash has cleared and I
never have headaches now.
"Sargon restored my health after
every other medicine failed. It

Some Suggestions For '
People on Vacation
Most North Carolina people take
their annual vacations' some time
during the months of July and Aug
ust. This not only applies tto,.the
wfll-tn-dn in the leisure aass and
the office workers and job holders in
general, but to the large farm popu
lation of the State as well. In
short, the roads of this state are
crowded practically every day during
July and , August with every known
type of . automobile loaded, to capacity
with happy folks, and their baggage,
off on a trip. This is a fine pro
cedure because it enables people to
become acquainted with their fellow
citizens, in other counties. It also
enables the people of one section of
the SUntf to learn, something of the
manners and customs of living of.
the people of the other sections of
the State. There are a few precau
tions, however, if the happiness is to
be maintained throughout the trip,
and safety" as- well as happiness follow
the return home. Some of the pre
cautions, we would like to mention
mfiv be numerated as follows :
For those who camp by the road
side or in one of the many places
set aside for tourists camping, the
available water supply ... should be
carefullv scrutinized, and unless it
is of known and proved purity, the
drinking water should be boiledV at
least three minute's before drinking.
When there are children along who
nr? '.siisrentihle , to anv one of the
various communicable diseases, careful
inquiry should be instituted when
other children are found in the camp,
perhaps coming from a. far distant
section of the country. If there is
any danger of exposure, the party
should move on or keep the chil
dren entirely separated. This pre
cauton also applies to the travelers
who stop in hotels and at the dif
ferent resorts. The food consumed
in the tourists camps or along the
roadside should be carefully chosen.
This .applies particularly to milk.
Milk is one of the finest foods for
roadside consumption, especially for
children, but unless the supply can
be obtained from high class dairies
or pasteurized milk in some ot the
towns, while passing through, it
would be much safer and better to
purchase some of the various brands
of dry or evaporated, unsweetened
milk. The dry milk, when prepared
according to directions, affords a
palatable substitute for fresh milk,
and it is absolutely safe when taken
