Mrs. Andy Wilson has been on Turtle Pond for, the last two days with Mrs. Ebbie Talley. Misses Stella and Edna Wilson made a business trip to Mrs. H. C. Wil son's. Mr. Andy Wilson has been on the sick' list for the past week. Mr. Charlie Carpenter, daughter and son spent Sunday night with Mr. Andy Wilson. C, Cherokee county, directors of the John C. Campbell Folk School, where Misses Stella and Zilham Wilson attended school last winter. Miss Addie Wilson and Mr. William Green both of Highlands, N. G, were married at Clayton, Ga., Friday morn ing. The bride is the daughter of Mr. R. B. Wilson and the groom is Mr. Han Green's son. We wish them a long and happy life. Mr. and Mrs. Bart Wilson spent last Thursday night with' Mrs. H. C. Wilson. Mr. Tom Wilson and little sister went to Mr. Ebbie Talleys's home on business Friday. Miss Zilliah Wilson was with home folks last week: Miss Stella Wilson spent Thursday night with Mrs. H. G Wilson. Demonstrator Here Miss Eubanks, representing the Purina Food company is in Macon county making a house to house canvas in the interest of . her com pany. She discusses with the farmers their poultry and dairy problems and tells them how to get the best results from the use of Purina pro ducts. The Farmers Supply Company is the sole agent for Purina products in Macon county, it is said. Almond Locals (Last Week) Mrs. J. M. R. DeHart of Almond died at her home July 28, 1929, at the acre of 63 years. Mrs. DeHart was Miss Sussana Cunningham of Macon County before her marriage. She was the mother of nine chil dren. She was a devoted wife and mother and was loved by all who knew her. Funeral ' services were held at her home Tuesday morning at 10 o'clock by Rev. J. H. Stanberry' of Marble, N. C. - Miss Lillian Breedlove spent Sun day afternoon with Miss Hazel Ram sey and Dorothy Jacobs. Mrs. Betty Proctor and two daugh ters spent Wednesday of last week with Mrs. B. P. Jacobs. Mr. and Mrs. J. H. Coffey spent Tuesday in Bryson City. Mr. A. B. Shuler and Mr. John Lindsay were in Needmore Sunday night a still hunting. Mr. J. D. Alleged Drunks Arrested Harvey Ramsey of Atlanta and Bennie Scruggs of Alacon county were arrested Alonday on the Georgia road and charged with being drunk and in possession of whiskey.
