Mr. and Mrs. L. Hulm, and son,

ents. Mr. and Mrs. T. P. Moses. They
had a car wreck as they came
up last Sunday. Mrs. Hulm had her
foot injured and was in Angel Broth
ers' hospital two days. She is slowly
improving.

Washington, D. C; are down to see
Mr. Bolick's parents, Mr. . and Mrs.
Moody Bolick.
The children's day at Higdonville
was a success. The program was
carried out nicely. The quartet from
East Sylva did some excellent sing
ing after the program. Then dinner
was .spread. There was a large num
ber oresent. but all seemed to get
plenty to eat. After dinner the East
Sylva class' sang again. Then the
Pine Grove class, led by Mr. Oscar
Corbin. gave us more good music.

Our operation was closed down on
Thursday evening of last week for

A special train was operated over
the Andrews-Nantahala railroad to
Buck creek on the Fourth. A large
group of Ritter folks boarded the
train for a fishing trip, followed by
a big dinner at Buck creek.
