Mashburn took some sheep to the Highlands market Fri day. On the eighth of this month Wen del Keener delivered 80 bushels of beans to the cannery at Franklin. Mr. and Mrs. C. D. Among the number of people from Tescnta attending the Peek reunion at Pine Grove, Saturday, was Mrs. Martha Brown, the oldest member of the Peck family living on Tesenta. Mrs. Brown is 84. , Mrs. C. H. Gailey of Jacksonville, Fla., is visiting her sister, Mrs. A. C. Patterson. Mrs. Hollis Patterson has been very sick for the past few days, but is im proving now. Mr. 0. L. Among the party who motored over to Franklin to attend the Democratic meeting last Saturday were: J. W. Stanley, Grace Fleming, Ed Ramey, Perley Hyde, Chas. Angel and James Bennett. Mr. Jim Forrester who has been confined o the house for the past month is reported, improved. Glenn Sneed and Evan Danielson made a business trip to Hazel creek and Fontana on Monday of last week returning home Tuesday. A contract has been let to Mr. Ed Cruse for the purpose of delivering carloads of acid wood to the Cham pion Fibre company and tan bark to the Andrews Tannery from the Black gap. A large force of men are now at work under Mr. Cruse. Mr. E. B. . McCollum made a busi ness triy to Franklin and returned last Friday evening.
