Freeman and wife from Franklin were visiting friends in this section Thursday. Mr. P. G. Holland and Mr. Orron Holland from Nantahala spent the week-end with home folks on Nick ajack. Mr. and Mrs. R. 0. Landrum and little daughter, Betty, returned to their home in Florida last week. Mr. W. P. Landrum made a busi ness trip to Franklin, Saturday. Dr, Bruce McGuire from Nantahala was in this section last week. Mrs. Earnest Johnson and children have returned to their home in Flor ida after spending a few weeks with home folks on Nickajack. Mr: B H. Holland and family from Rainbow Springs were visiting home folks on Nickajack, Sunday. Mr. and Mrs. Robert Holland and little son, Gordon, from Nantahala, are -visiting home folks in this section. . o- : RAINBOW SPRINGS Mr. and Mrs. Wallace Storie were in Franklin last week end shopping. Miss Allie Caler was in Franklin for a short visit to her friends and relatives last week end. Mr. F. W. Tittle and his daughter Edith, were in Franklin last Satur day, afternoon -shoppings Among, the party who motored over to Franklin last week end shopping were; Mr. and Mrs. Smith, Paul Vaught, John Sliced and his son Glenn. The new water tank and fountain have "been built for the Kainbow Springs school' by F. W. Tittle, water and light engineer" of W. M. Ritter lumber company. The change was made in order to improve the water supply for the school. The drouth in this section has been dry almost the past 2 or 3 months. Our water supply has1 been going low and so far as we are told that the Nantahala river is getting low, those things which you think Si'fc im portant.
