THURSDAY, OCT. 8, 1931 THE FRANKLIN PRESS PAGE FIVE ST, AGNES Episcopal Church Franklin, N. C. Rev. Norvin C. Duncan Priesl-in-charge SUNDAY 11 A. Al.-IJoly (Joiniiitiiiiuii ami si immi, St. Aunts iIiuitIi, Franklin, TUESDAY . 10 A. M. i'laycr scr ice at rectory. BY REV. NORVIN C. DUNCAN Sometime ago we made mention of (he fact that 'we cxiec1el t. have a Life Abundant mission sometime this fall, conducted by the Rev. Robert 13. H. Jkll, of Denver, Colo. We are glad to announce that Dr. Bell has given us the date, and that we expect to begin tin- Missinii Sunday ninniin, Nov. K, and l cunlinin- llirniigli Sunday, Nov 15. Dr. will be accompanied by his wife, who will lecture each day on the laws of health, giving practical information in ri-gard (o foods, exercise, mental attitudes, etc. We are. quite prepared to say that these lectures by Mrs, Bell are invaluable, .as she is "an expert in the matter of foods. Dr. Hell will preach each evening, and there will be" opportunities during the mission for the sick to conic for ward for, special prayers. Dr. Hell is the founder, of the Life Abundant movement, which is based upon the belief that God's work for man embraces the whole man, body, mind, and spirit. Pri marily, it is the prediction of health through obedience to God's laws, and (he main teachings of the mission will be "the setting forth of these laws. Yet even when health is broken God lias forces which lie sets to work in response to faith, and many have been heal ed through prayer at these mis sions. -This movement, unlike Christian Science, embraces the medical profession as agents with God in healing the sick. We are looking forward to the coming of Dr. 'Bell, 'and extend' to everyone in the community, an invitation to attend. Baptist Notes BY REV. EUGENE R.
