PERSONALS Cancer Fund Quota Completed In County Jackson County hys raised its quota of $400 for the 1947 Cancer fund drive, according to Mr. Roscoe Poteet, county chairman, who stat ed that a small amount beyond the quota was realized during the drive. The fifty per cent of the fund has already been sent to the State headquarters which will be used in research work in an effort to find out more about this "killer" of men and women. Mr. Poteet stated that the Di vision of the American Cancer So ciety has agreed to share 50-50 with the county welfare depart ment in the treatment of indigent cases, where the appropriation is not sufficient to" meet these bills.
