Committee members have been named and preliminary plans are being made for the an nual celebration of May Day at Western Carolina Teachers college. The festivities, to be observed the first Friday in May, will have a Spanish theme. Prof. Ernest V. Deans, Jr., who wrote the script for the program last year, will write it again this year. Jean Poteet, Sylva, and Loee Alley, Norfolk, Va., are co-chair - men of the general planning com mittee. Other members of the com mittee are Pat Sawyer, Black Mountain; Floyd Cunningham, Franklin; Dorothy Tilley, Cullo whee; J. Dills, Sylva; and Bill Smith, Williamson, W. Va.
