Going into the meet Saturday night in Catamount uniform will be, not a bunch of inexperienced wrestlers, but a group of boys with two meets under their belts al ready this year. Two meets is not enough to say a man is experienc ed but wrestlers learn a lot in their first two and Coach Hensley has been putting his men through the rough this week so no one will be unconditioned for the meet. besides the Knoxville defeat, the Cats were handed a 29-5 licking by the Appalachian Statemen last week. Appalachian is considered one of the standout powers in wrestling throughout the South and Hensley was well pleased with the showing that his men gave the Mountaineers. Appalachian's rost er included several AAU cham pions and their heavyweight, Allen Bandy, a North Carolina titlehold er, was pinned in 1:30 of the third period by Western Carolina's Pop Goodson. Goodson is a pre-war I star of Catamount mat teams and I* is co-captain with Jack McCrack en of Canton of the W.C.T.C. team this year. Probable starters for the Cats are: 121 pounder, Charles Clayton, Winston-Salem; 128, David Bird, Winston-Salem; 136, Jake Atkin son, Hamlet; 145, Don Thames, Charleston, S. C.; 155, Tom Gar land, Robbinsville. 165, Jack Mc Cracken, Canton; 175, Bruce Burle son, Bakersville, or Bill Luquire, Raleigh; and heavyweight, Pop Goodson, Lincolnton.
