D. Phillips We, the pec pie who are in the Utate of Washington, wish to ex-' ! press our deepest sympathy to! the family of R. D. Phillips, who passed away some few days ago. It broke our hearts to hear the news of his death, but that is one thing that will come to all of us. Mr. Phillips was a great singer, but new that he has been called out of this world of trouble and sorrow, he can sing forevermore. We know that we won't miss him like you folks there will, but still j our hearts are broken. : We, too, are 'a family who try ! to sing, but there will come a day : w*hen we can join in with Mr. I Phillips and sing again together But it won't be like it was down here: we won't need any musicians in heaven. Then we won't have to walk these old muddy .roads trying to 1 get to church and other places, because the streets will be of gold. It has only been a short while since iClr. Phillips had to say good bye to one of his boys, but we hope and pray that they are both happy together. His family will miss him in every way, but if there are any of them who are not prepared for a bet ter world, they should begin to think about "Where Will I Spend Eternity?" The Bible says God giveth and God taketh away and you can wait down here to do things, but when God calls, you have to go, prepared or unprepared. We are sorry that we could not I be there for the funeral of a dear friend. Our prayers will be that everyone in the world who isn't prepared to die will get ready before it is too late.
