Mr. Salley was elected temporary chairman and instructed to prepare a pro gram fcr the next meeting which will be held at Enka on an invita tion from Mr. Salley and his as sistant chief C. C. Robertson. A prior invitation had been extend ed by Chief D. W. Merr.ll of Bre vard, but he withdrew his invita tion so that the next meeting could be at a more central location in an effort to draw more ef the Western Carolina departments in for the organizational meeting, which will also be a dinner meeting furnished by Enka.
