Ed Fisher moved the adoption
of the following resolution:
"WHEREAS, the Registrars and
Judges of Election appointed to
hold the special election ordered,
to be held on July 3, 1948, have!
held said election and have made
returns of the result tncreof anct i

duly canvassed the returns and I
ascertained the result of said elec-j

WHEREAS, it appears from said
returns that the polls for said'
election were opened in each pre
cinct at the polling place which
was used in said precinct at the

General Assembly, at the hour of
6:30 o'clock, A.M. (Eastern Stand
ard Time) and were continuously
kept open until 6:30 o'clock, P^M.
(Eastern Standard Time), and that
the voters at said election were1
