ordination." "These are rather big
words," declared the Evangc-Iist,
"but they are very important."
Citing Romans 9:9-17 where Paul
shows that Jacob. Esau and Pha
raoh were decreed beforehand, the
Evangelist asked why God knows,
that certain men will be saved and
ethers lo?t. He answered the ques
tion by reading Ephesians 1:4, 11,'
declaring that "every soul that is!
saved in the kingdom of God will |
be saved according to God's will
and not their own. It is a plan
laid from before the world began
according to II Timothy 1:9," stat
ed the Evangelist. "Gcd knows the

make."
Illustrating Matthew 22:14 wh.rh
reads," for many are called but!
rew are chosen," the Evangelist
offered a tree book to anyone' who
wculd come forward. He repeat
ed the invitation several times b*
fore several ventured forward.
"God gives salvation freely to all,"
stated the Evangelist, "but only a
few respond like the folk who
came after the bcoks tonight."
