Rev ..Knecht To Talk On | "The Mark Of The Beast" Sunday Evening Sept. 19* } "The. United States in Bible ; Prophecy" was the subject of Ev angelist L. P. Knecht as he address, ed a large audience in the Com munity Bible Tabernacle last Sun day night, Sept. 12. He identified the American nation prophetical ly from Rev. 13:11 and verses fol lowing, showing among other proofs of this position that the United States' possession of the Atomic bomb is described in verse 13 where the beast made fire to come down from heaven. Commenting on what the future has for the United States and the rest of the world, Evangelist Knecht quoted from Dr. R. M. Hutchins. Chancellor of the University of Chicago: " "Without the Atomic bomb the prospects of civilization were dubious enough. Now that we have it, they are black . . . The pity is that we have so little time." Raymond Swing was quoted in making this statement: "We have s^bJit four or five years left. Either wy will find a way to establish World Government or perish in a war of the atom." "Educators' and scientists are now preaching what the Bible teaches and has al ways taught," declared the Evan gelist. Next Sunday, Sept. 19, the sub ject will be "The Mark of the Beast".
