an assurance of delivery.

munity have from one to several
nice fat hogs which will be ready
to butcher as soon as the weather
gets cold enough.
Quite a few of our Fall Cliff and
Speedwell people, attended an all
day singing at Yellow Mountain on
October 24. Those mountain peo
ple really had a^east prepared for
the crowd. Everyone enjoyed the
day and participated in the of
fering which amounted to over
$200 which wiM be used to finish
paying for the church piano.
Those people are to be congra
tulated on their nice new church
building, which will soon be com
pleted.
Friends and relatives of Mrs.
Dorthula Bumgarneer, widow of
the late George Bumgarner, will
regret to learn that she is quite ill

M. Brown to Pensacola, Florida,
to visit Harvey and Carl Tritt and
Mrs. Willa Coward.
Mr. and Mrs. Benny Tritt, of
Mallen, Mass., announce the birth
of a daughter, on October 19.
Mr. and Mrs. Roy Tritt, of East
LaPorte, announce the engagement
of their daughter, Marcelle, to
Mr. Tom Bryson, son of Mr. and
Mrs. Fred Bryson, of Glenville.
Iredell County had four 4-H
animals at the National Jersey
Show in Columbus ,Ohio, last
month.
at the home of her son, Clarence,
at Glenville.
