high court.
Hampered as they were with no
available substitutes to rest the
starting five, the Sylva team show
ed potential strength against the1
Haywood County leaguers. Clyde
Rector bucketed 9 points to lead
Velt's and played an outstanding
floor game.
Bill Plott and Jack Case paced
the Underwood's five with 15 and
14 points respectively. Under
wood's took an early lead and
stayed ahead throughout the ball
game.
