Mrs. McLain Hostess To
Cope Creek Club
The Cope Creek Home Demonstration
club met with Mrs. F. N.
McLain on last Thursday evening
with eight members present.
Mrs. Johnnie Watson presided
over the business session. The
year books were given out, and
meeting places for the year were
decided on.
Miss Mary Johnston, who was
in charge of the program, gave
i an interesting discussion on, "Know
Your Organization.*' She brought
out that )he majority cf the farm
women in Jackson county do not
know the value of the Home Demonstration
club organization. Plans
for reaching these women were
ciscussed.
Mrs. McLain served delicious
refreshments to her guests.
Th * npvt mooting will ho with
Mrs. Homer Cope on February 10.
The club would welcome new
members at any of the meetings,
and hopes to make this the best
club year ever.
