Mrs. A. H. Carter of Danville,

Mrs. J. R. Long.
Norman E. Hall of Snow Hill,
Maryland spent Christmas with
friends and relatives on East Fork.
He arrived in Sylva Wednesday,
December 20, and remained thru ^
Christmas day. This is the first
Christmas Mr. Hall has spent in
Jackson County in twenty years.
Mr. and Mrs. Orville Coward of
Asheville spent the holidays with
Mr. Coward's parents, Mr. and
Mrs. Dillard Coward.
Mr. Francis Buchanan, a student
at U.N.C., arrived Wednesday,
December 20, to spend the holidays
with his brother, Mr. Marcellus
Buchanan III, and Mrs. Buchanan
at Webster.
