We wish to speak of a great revival meeting which has just closed at Peeks Chapel. Several great re vivals have been held through this section this fall and winter and they have done great apd lasting good. This meeting was held by Jesse Corn and Sheridan Brigg9 at Peeks Chapel. The interest was not confined to the vicinity of Peeks Chapel, but attendance was had for miles and miles around. The meeting resulted in the con version of 25 or 30 souls who were baptized and united with Peeks Chapel. 21 were baptized, 2 re stored and the church greatly up-; lifted. Bro. Corn is a young preacher, but seems to have the power of God with him. We look for him to bo a great light in our country. This meeting has bro ken the record at this place and we thank God for it and hope that every church in the French Broad Association may have just such a meeting. E. S.
