Born March, 21, 1890. I left Madison Nov. 20, 1911 and come to Swain County and was employed by the W. M. Ritter Lumber Co. I have made some money and saved what I could for the year 1912, II never lost any time at all I made every day in the whole year, There is lots of lumber manu factured here they cut from 60.000 to 70,000 feet per day and finish'it ready for building pur poses. She was subject to attacks of the heart for some years and had been treated for this. She leaves four little children the oldest being four teen years of age and the young est five years old.
