While the hot days are on us we are wishing for some cool weather and our thoughts naturally go to Christmas times. In the time past the -different Sabbath Schools hare each had their own trees and it means that at the time that all should be - to gether we are all seperated trying to out do the other. The rivalry is one that should not be and so last year some of the people,' re membering that year before last we had a community entertain ment and the enjoyableness of it all, suggested that we a 1 1 g o together and have a community Christmas ;Tree i n t h e Court House Square. We h o p e this may take effect and in place of seperate trees we may.' have one great tree like Aheville had last and which many of the cities have had, and fco get together and make Chirstmas a town affair and make the effort one worth while, and that will include every one in town.
