Moore, president of the institution. - Let ters aro being made to all the former students asking them to co operate in the campaign. "Besides a gymnasium, the school neeas another large dormitory, a laboratory and building equipment more land and an additional en dowment to the amount of $10,' 000." said Mr. Moore.. This larg- er program will be possible if (he older students show their loyalty by sacrificial giviug and by com mending ti e undertaking to their friends. : Marvelous giving was manifest ed at commencement when under the inspiring leadership of Dr. O. E. Sams, president of Karson-Newj man college, a collection for the purpose of building a new gynma sium came on without previous planning. It, was a fitting close tq the first great banquet of, the old etudents. Pledges covering half the oost of a $25,000 building were made within five minutes. There was not time to secure pledges from all present as the matter came up spontaneously just before the close of the banquent. The follow ing gifts were named: T. L. Johnson, $1,000; A. N.
