I have tried all my life to be honest and truthful. I never sold drop of liquor in my life. don't drink liquor or have any thing to do with it. I never was drunk in my lifer. I am 65 years old and was never tried in any court in my life. I have raised four boys and not one of them was ever tried in court, the youngest boy be ing around 30 years old. Three of my boys were in the World War, two of my boys volenter- ed, one drafted, two went to France, all stayed untill they were Honorably Discharged. They all have very good nosi tions, and making honest livings I have been a Stewart in the Methodist church for more than 30 years. And have surpenten ded Sunday schools for more man ao years, l attend m v church and Sunday school and help to support its institutions I think it my duty to say some thing of friend George L McKin- hey, as his good name and char acter has been assailed by cer tain parties. Now to stirt with when I first announced myself as candidate for County Com' missioner JONAH CHAND LER, went to McKinney countv commissioners office and said to Mcjunney, now less go for Rec tor, for he is the very man we need with us onthe board And they agreed. But when McDe- vitt came out JONAH went to his support taking McDevitt in his car around over the countv. promising the people ROADS. and LOWER TAX, that they would be a majority and would do things George McKinney be ing a "MAN OF HIS WORD." stuck to what he had nrnm ice1 for doing so his good name and character has been abused thro ugh the papers and little o 1 d dirty sheets by my friend Mc Devitt, by (insintuating t ha t McKinney did not want him on the board. Applying his golden rule and keeping things straiffht that was going crooked, it is nothing less than a burnihtf shame, that any man are set or m e n, would insinuate on .ih character of such men as Mc Kinney, Dr. Finley, Will West, C.
