Six years ago you elected me Representative As your servant I conscientiously cnd:avoed to secure- laws which
meant the betterment of the County. A law was enacted creating the office of Auditor. This has proven a valuable
and necessary business reform 'An act was also secured placing thejpublic funds on deposit at interest. I am informed
tha through this law alone more than a thousand dollars each year has been placed to the credit of Madison County.
Its future benefits willl probably be greater The Australian ballot law was another law that I secured for your County.

This law has done more than all other laws combined to purify local politics. The women can now vote with absolute
