In last weeks paper I intimat
ed that there was coming, a
larger program of good fellow
ship meetings for all our church
cs iu The French Broad and New
Found Associations. In each of
these sectional meetings 'we
want to rekindle the -spirit of
fellowship and good will to each
other. We all remember the
past days when in some gather
ing at the old church, our neigh
lors and friends of surrounding
communities gathered with us
for worship, prayer and consul
tion. The fellowship. was fine.
We enjoyed our religion, because
we were in touch and sympathy
with our fellows, lne inane r
hour was notVhc most despised
Somebody said, "Wish we could
go back again in experience and
know once more the joy of , the
"Old time religion." We most
earnestly hope these ' meetings,
carefully planned and
carried out will bring x to our
souls a fresh experience of the
presence of Him, who alone sat
isfies the heart.
These meetings have been ar
ranged to be in reach of. every
Baptistin our territory. The
plan is for the central church in
ach group io invite the other
churches in that group to send
messengers or representatives
to spend the day ; with them
in prayer and conference. The
entertaining church will furnish
a light lunch for us at the noon
hour. This is not to be a frolic
or picnic party, but a gathering
of the Kings servants, planning
together how we may best carry
out the last will of our Lord ts
expressed in his last words,' jtt
before going back to Heaven. Wo
shall expect that each .enter
taining church shall have iis
pastor as the chairman and mas
ter of- ceremonies.-- Followinjn
are the groups of "churches; tnt
first named ; church in "" each
group is to be . the ' entertaining
church. Also date of meeting.

Let each church be sure to
get its date and place of meet
infi well fixed in mind and make
plans to have the very best
meeting possible. Don't gt co n
fused because several churches
have their, meetings ., the same
day. I have arranged for some
speakers for each of these meet
ings. They are our own pastors
and,laymen. ; I am anxious es
pecially that all our pastors at
tend one or moreof these mee1
intfs. The afternoon will be giv?
en entirely to speaking by local
people and,, to round table con
ference. Meetings will begin at
10 o'clock and adjourn at will.
Brethren lets have one more
good old get together meeting. v
