We want to Bay that we feel that the spirit of God was with us in this great meeting. We were proud to have with us over a half dozen of young laymen, who made talks stating that they were in the work to stay. We are proud to mention Rob ert Tweed, George Silver, Lee Tweed and others. Frost came last night and bit our beans, corn, potatoes, and plants that weren't covered. We regret them getting ruined, but we must submit to' God s will. He doeth all things well. I think wickedness causes such things that we call bad luck to happen to us many times. We are sorry to hear of Mr. Tom Gowan being quite ill at this writing. Dr. Grigsby has just passed by on his way home in Tenn. He reports that Mr. Gowan has acute indigestion. . We hope he will soon be welL The mother of Mr. W. W. Gowan is expected to leave us at apy moment to go to her re ward. She says she is ready to meet her God.
