Morgan of Ashevill", N. C, died at the French Broad Hospital on June 2, 1928. Mr. Morgan has bean in poor health for some time. He was 76 years old and had been a citizen of Asheville for more than 40 years. He was a Baptist' minister and had been preaching the gospel for 52 years. He1 was widely known in Bun combe county and in the adjoining counties. Funeral services were at his home at Woodfin Suifday at 10:00 a.m and services were conducted by Dr. Wallace of West Asheville. His many friends attested their sorrow by ba present to the number of about five hundred. The remains were laid to rest in the Asheville Riverside ceme tery. He is survived by his wife Mary Morgan and two daughters of Ashe ville, one sister Eureka Morgan of Democrat, N. C three brothers J. U. Morgan of Stocksville, M. T. Movpran of Mars Hill and E. S.
