with Mr, Cody Thursday nigut,
leaving his home Friday morning ap
parently as well, as common. At a-
bout ten o'clock Mr. Willie Gosnell
was passihg ", Mr." Cody's old store
where Mr. Grooms has stopped. Mr.
Grooms asked him to go the the house
just below vt? e ' store and get , him
some soda as . he was real sick. In
a few minutes Mr. Pender Amnions
was passing. , Both boys did all they
rnuld. but nothing did any good.
Mr. Grooms lived only a few min
utes until he passed into the Great
Beyond. , - N ,
