giving week n a visit to his parents
near Petersburg and to other friends
and relatives.
Mr. and Mrs. H. L. Gibbs went
to Mills Springs Sunday to visit
relatives. Mrs. Gibbs remained over
this week on account of the illness
of her mother.
Mr. Everett Frisby, of Richmond,
Virginia, is spending -several days
with his parents, Mr. and Mrs.
Frank Frisby 'and family.
Mrs. Paul P. Thrower who has
been 'at her home in Gastonia for
the past several weeks, returned
last Friday with her husband, Rev.
Thrower and their infant son. Little
Paul Robinson Thrower was christen
ed Thursday. Thanksgiving1 evening,
at the home of his grandmother,
Mrs. C. P. Robinson. Many mem
bers of the immediate family were
present. Rev. T. G. Tate, a former
nastor of Mrs Thrower, and the
minister who baptized her and of
ficiated at her wedding, conducted
the christening service.
