Houston, Texas If it hadn't been for Grandma Ammie Dennis, "In dian" Johnny Dennis Jr., 6, would have been a "dead Injun." Johnny was participating in a Davy Crock ett battle with other "Indians," and was to be "hung." His playmates looped a length of cord over a tree limb, knotted the other end about Johnny's throat and then Johnny either stepper or fell off an ice cool er. Playmates ran for help and Mrs. Dennis got him down.
