Stephen says that he runs Into some peculiar ideas about bees in hi travels over the state. But a mountaineer recently came up with some of the weirdest "misinforma tion" he's heard lately. Stephen says that Graham County Ant Denver Robinson was over- heard in a conversation with the r J mountain man who asked, almost ae- mandinjrly, "Do you know where that thar honey comes from. Robinson good humoredly said he had always understood that the bees got their honey from fl.-wers. The old timer then asked. "Where do the flowers pet if!" Without waiting for a reply, he said that flowers "get it from the air." Then he of fered the information that "they now have machines that will take that thar honey from the air. While Robinson puzzieu over -"-startlinK bit of news, some bees tak ing "cleansing flights" flew by and .v.: i.i ma said. "See that!
