C, died Wed nesday, December 19, 1956, in a Washington hospital after a short illness. Funeral services were held Sun day ait 2 p. m., in Caney Fork Baptist Church. The Rev. Luke Griffin and the Rev. Jeter Sher lin officiated. Burial was in the Dry Pond Cemetery. Surviving are the husband, Wil liam H. Goforth; a daughter, Joyce and a son, Wdlldam D., both of the home; and mother, GiadyB Meadows, of Marshall. Mrs. Goforth was a member of Caney Fork Baptist Church. The body waa taken to the home of J. J. Goforth until service time. Bowman-Rector Funeral Home was in charge. We are glad to have Mr. C. B. Justice back at' home after spend ing several days in the hospital. Uncle Marion Coward is still in the hospital, but we hope he will soon be able to coma home. Misses Jo Ann Allen and Agnes Mathus were visiting Mr. and Mrs. Arthur Moore Sunday eve ning.
