The l60 County Key Bankers work as a comittee to promote the numerous farm activities sponsor ed by the bankers of North Car olina. The N. C. Bankers Asso ciation spends thousands of dol lars annualy in promoting up-to- date farm practices. "We spend more on onr farm programs," Wily said, "than any otfner sinele activity. We believe it's a good investment for banks, as well as for the entire state. The bankers association spon sors a two-week school at State Colleee each February, attended bv about 150 young farm leaders. from throughout the State. All( expenses of the young farmers, are paid by their hometown banks. The association also sponsors a two-day farm credit confernce, at which theState's financial leaders study the current agriculture pic ture with farm leaders.
