It was organizational as well as devo tional and it is anticipated that the program will be in full awing next week. All young people from the fourth grade up are cordially invited to attend. Members of the Session and those wW are interested are cor dially invited to attend that meet ing at the Allanstand Presbyeri ani Church this coming Sunday at 2:30 p. m. At that time Rev. Dur ing the -course of the service he paid tribute to Mrs. Sarah Thom as, who has served the church so faithfully as choir director. She is leaving to assume a teaching position in another state. Mem bers and friends of the church are reminded that services will be held this coming Sunday at 11:00 a. m., with Mr. Force as the preac'her and leader. On Sunday evening there was the monthly meeting of the Ses sion and the board of deacons as well. At the meeting of the Ses sion, plans were made for World wide Communion Sunday, Lay man's Sunday and a Family Night supper which is to be held in either September or October. Then came the four wheeled boiled that did not have to be ended up. Both boilers were moved from place to place by horses. Both boilers necessi tated plenty of dry wood and a water hauler. Last came the gas oline tractor which not only mov ed itself but also pulled the thresher. All of these are now in the past. Today people would travel miles to see one of these outfits in operation. , No longer do 'boys sweat it out in the barn loft or on tha straw stack and carry bags of wheat from he gin to the granary and at eating time set down to a ta ble loaded with better cooked food than any king ever had. ' Mrs. Peggy Dotterer was elected secretary to replace Mrs. ' Sarah Thomas,' who is it moving away. Several items of interest and im portance to the material welfare of the church were also acted up on.
